Reflection on 1 Corinthians 2;10

Illumination and Conviction
A Believer Spiritual Journey

Verse 10: For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

Christian knowledge of biblical truth is more than biblical words, and theological concepts. It is the Holy Spirit through these words, which illuminate the natural man to deeper understanding of God.
Even thou the natural man may read and understand the words written on the pages of scriptures; however, they lack the understanding. The deeper thing of God is like the blind leading the blind. Only the Holy Spirit enlightens the minds and hearts tarnished by sin.
Because Adam and Eve fell into sin , they lack the capability of understanding God truths. Sin cloud our minds, hearts, and will. The Holy Spirit reveals, and attunes our heart to God’s will.
The Holy Spirit enlightens us through the moral law, and convict us of our sinful nature, and the gospel, and convey the God’s and forgiveness.
After they accepted Christ the Holy Spirit seals them, and continues throughout the life of the believer.

One concerns for the believer is what will they say to the nonbeliever. As Jesus stated to his disciples, “But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth.” We received illumination through the word, prayer, and medication on God revelation.
We received this illumination through ministry of his word, prayers, and meditations.
