Jesus Death On The Cross Defeated Satan And His Works Part Two

There is Power In The Name Jesus break every chain!

13; This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. Ephesians 6; 13

Now, that Jesus conquers sin, death, and the power of darkness by living a sinless life. However, one slight problem, sin, death, and demons still exists. The common question that sceptic would asks, why does sin, sickness, and death still exists? Often citing that one parent was a follower of Christ was afflicted with stage four cancer, and prayer that God would heal them of this terrible disease yet they die anyway, and ask why did their God take them? Even thou he pray for them.
John Stott wrote, “Although Satan has been overthrown, he has not yet been eliminated. In fact he continues to wield great power. This is the reason for the tension we feel in both in theology and our experience. On the one hand we are alive seated and reigning with Christ as we have seen, with even the principalities and powers of evil placed by God.” In short Jesus has defeated the power darkness at the cross yet they still exist and wrecking habit on the world.
While Satan is powerful archangel before thrown out heaven, and took a 1/3 the angels with him. Yet he still created by God and God still sovereign over him. As scripture states,”  “Very well,” the Lord told Satan, “everything he owns is in your power. However, you must not lay a hand on Job him-
self. ” Furthermore it written,“Very well,” the Lord told Satan, “he is in your power; only spare his life.”

Swindoll once said, if think you go against the devil alone you’re nut it like competing against Mike Jordan in basketball game you need Larry Bird take your place. His point is put on the full armour of God. The Holy Spirit and the Jesus has overcome the evil one and work is done on the cross. John Stott, wrote,”It would be utterly impossible by ourselves to fight and defeat the devil: we lack the skill and the strength to do so. It would also be necessary to make the attempt, because Christ is already done it. The victory of Christians, therefore, consists of entering into the victory of Christ and of enjoying it benefits. We thank God that he gave us victory through our Jesus Christ.”
Now we’re adopted into God’s Family we’ve now inherit eternal life through Jesus Christ. Even thou, sin sickness, diseases, catastrophe still occur in this hell hole called the world. Satan is defeated.
That’s the reason I am passionate about gospel love getting into the depth of it
A Specialize once apologize to me for being so fussy ensuring that I was Ok. He was Irish and spoke very fast to understand him you needed put the record player at 33 rpm to understand him. Do you what Spanish language is it’s English at 33 rpm. Back to my point. The gospel is like that you need to understand the depth of it’s, and splendour before preaching the gospel, you need to understand it RC Sproul wrote “ For over fifty years I have studied and read a host of tomes written about the meaning of the cross of Christ, and yet I still believe that I have not been able to do anything more than touch the surface of the depths and the riches that are contained in that moment of redemptive history.”
His point he is professor and teachers he needs to get right. So he can equip the future leaders. plus the devil is not quitter and will not concede. A careful study of the gospel is essential building solid foundadtion as scriptures states, “ a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Edward Mote wrote, “On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand.”
Remember, there’re bad teacher Kenneth Haggin wrote these words, “ All Christians should expect God to heal their bodies today, because Christ died to atone for our sickness as well as our sins. He base his argument on Isaiah 53; 4. “ Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses, and He carried our pains.” He uses the Hebrew word nasa in which he interpret to bear in sense of suffering the punishment for something. The actual meaning, “to lift, carry, take” such as carrying the ark or carrying armour Isaiah 53; 12 uses same word bore to bear someone sins supporting his argument. Yet bore our sickness means means something entirely. John Stott wrote,” but to the healing ministry of Jesus. It was in order to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah he writes, that healed all the sick.” As scripture states,“ When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.”
Nowhere does it say in scripture that Jesus died for illness only for sin 1 John;1;9 does not if confess your sickness but sin.
Sin is cause and in effect of, sickness, calamity, and the earth deteriorating. John Stott wrote,” we should therefore affirm that Christ died for our sickness as well as for our sins, that there is healing in the atonement, or that health is just readily available to everybody as forgiveness. That does not mean, however, that our bodies are unaffected by the death and resurrection. As it written in the scriptures,” always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death works in us, but life in you. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. John Stott, wrote “ that the life of Jesus should be constantly revealed in our bodies, that God put in a human body marvelous therapeutic processes which fights diseases and restored health.” Furthermore he wrote,” but to expect the sick to be healed and the dead to be raised as regularly as we expect sinner to be forgiven {is foolish} emphasis added. not till then will bodies be entirely rid of disease and death.”

I knew a Christian believe in healing and believe they where healed of affliction that they had. They had a bad heart, asthma, and diabetic. She love the Lord that person was first person I told I had diabetic outside my family Their prayer was comfort to me for she understood the awfulness of the disease. It shame they did see value their serves for the Lord even thou they’re ill. Too many believer who believe in healing tend to hid, their illness in fear being being belittle or being told they lack the faith .
A couple times someone asks me I could pray me for healing because I using a walking stick. Little they did know that I have high blood pressure, diabetes, heartburn, and gout. Often would No thanks just pray for those who do not know the gospel and Jesus atoning work. Some would get angry, Some are puzzle.
I received encouraging words from someone that could see that I love Jesus they felt if pray for healing that I would Jesus more. What happen to unconditional love ? The apostle Paul wrote,” there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. My parents name me after Paul because of texts. Often I would say to my mother, I was thorn in her flesh. In short we love Jesus because He love us first.
A careful study of the gospel is essential to building a solid foundadtion as scriptures states, “ a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Edward Mote wrote, “On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand.”
