The Cost Of Following Christ Is It Worth It

That I am not my own, but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death, to my faithful Saviour Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with His precious blood, and has set me free from al l the power of the devil. He also preserves me in such a waythat without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, all things must work together for my salvation. Therefore, by His Holy Spirit He also assures me of eternal life and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for Him. In short putting God first in every aspect of your life is aim in the follower of Christ.
Like us consider what Jesus did for us. He came in human foam even He was God, and withstood all of Satan temptation yet He did not sin. While praying and agonizing, and sweating drops of blood in the Garden Of Gethsemane asking His Father with draw the cup of wrath; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done. He was betrayed by one of his disciple with a kiss, and was arrested, and brought before the high priest they. Held an illegal trial, and found Him guilty of blasphemy, and brought before Pilate the government of Judea, and brought following charges against Him.“ If he were not a criminal,“ We would not have handed him over to you.” Pilate could not put him to death “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.” Still not punish by death; eventually, they changed it “ Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.” Punishment by death. Pilate declare him not guilty several times Overtime they eventuality found a technical term crucifying Jesus by setting Barabbas free a known criminal sentence to die that day People cried release Barabbas crucify Jesus!
Even thou Pilate’s wife declares Him righteous Pilate, and Harold declares him innocent, no formal charges were laid against Him Yet He was still beaten, mocked, and crucified.
While hanging on the cross the crowd and the high priests jeered and mocked Him, and the two thieves on the cross as well saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes and elders, were mocking Him and saying, He saved others; He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him. He trusts in God; let God rescue Him now, if He [t] delights in Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God. The robbers who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him with the same words.” Even His heavenly Father totality abandoned Him, when Jesus uttered these words,” My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” John Stott wrote,” Christ died in abject aloneness, ejected by his own nation and deserted by his own disciples, but nothing up on the cross he would draw do all people to himself.”

The was real reason why He willing of sacrifice Himself on the cross for our sakes. The key is what the thief on His right hand declare to Jesus. He had a Holy Spirit moment when he had exchanged with Jesus, Where he uttered these words,“ Don’t you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment? We are punished justly, because we’re getting back what we deserve for the things we did, but this man has done nothing wrong. Then, he said, Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom! And Jesus said to him,“ Today you will be with Me in paradise.” The Apostle Paul wrote,” He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. John Stott wrote “ now that he had acted in his love to aside his anger, we’ve been justified by him, redeemed for him, and reconciled to him.” This is the heart of the gospel.
If Jesus the Son of God was willing take on human flesh and take mankind sinful nature without committing no sin, left heaven glory, and became servant , gave himself up on the cross to us to redeem us from the wickedness, secure eternity for those who believe in him, so we enjoy the benefits of eternity shores in heaven among the other saints.
What kind of sacrifice could we offer Him in return very little I suspect. Westminster Confession of Faith Catechisms asks this question; What is the chief end of man?
Answer. Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever.
The glory of God is a silver thread which must run through all our actions. “Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” Everything works to some end in things natural and artificial; now, man being a rational creature, must propose some end to himself, and that should be, that he may lift up God in the world. He had better lose his life than the end of his living. The great truth asserted is that the end of every man’s living should be to glorify God. Glorifying God has respect to all the persons in the Trinity; it respects God the Father who gave us life; God the Son, who lost his life for us; and God the Holy Ghost, who produces a new life in us; we must bring glory to the whole Trinity. In short it means to worship God in words,
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Very little I suspect accept to preach the gospel and to understand and learn from it. Perhaps these words written by Isaac Watts ,” Were the whole realm of nature mine That were a present far too small; Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all. Or Bible states,” But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world.”

In short it means to worshipped God in words, song, actions spoken communication, prayer, services in the community, and nourishing our souls by reading the scriptures.
As is it written in the Bible,”Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.”
A least this is the writer mission in life nothing but to present the gospel nothing thrill me most when an unconverted person understands the gospel for the very first time and acknowledge their before sins Jesus, and passion wants to serve Him with all his heart, soul, and mind. That being said nothing irate me more when the devil seemly winning the battle, and snatches the soul of the unconverted. We followers of Christ have much work that needs to be done. As Bible states,” For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh , but serve one another through love. For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Being free from the bondage Satan grip gives immense as saints to be thankful for, and now we’re now free to worship him in songs, words, actions, and prayer because we’ve access into God’s kingdom through Christ, as the scriptures states,” In Him {Christ} we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him {Christ}. W.M Chow wrote,” There is no forgiveness in the world or in that which is to come, except through the cross of Christ. Through this man preached unto to you forgiveness of sins. The religions of paganism scarcely knew the word –––The great faiths of Buddhist and Mohammedan give no place either to need or the grace of reconciliation. The clearest proof of this is the simplest. It lies in the hymns of Christian worship. A Buddhist temple never resounds with the cry of praise. Mohammedan worshipers never sing. There prays are at the highest, prayers of submission and of request. They seldom reach the gladder note of Thanksgiving. They are never jubilant with the songs of forgiveness. As scriptures states, “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power. Worthy are the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing. “We who follow Christ are overjoyed with gladness within our hearts it spill into the community, and the people in the cosmos takes note we Christian do neck of the woods .
Because Christ is our the Paschal lamb, we’ve reason to celebrate and be overjoyed with Thanksgiving in our hearts.
