6 Then the woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom. So she took some of its fruit and ate it; she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.

 Satan disguises himself as a serpent more craftier than any creature than all the other animals in the garden. He proposed a question to Eve, Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’? Eve responds was We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’Here’s what God uttered in Genesis 2; 17, 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you surely will  die. Note that Eve stated you must not touch the tree, where God you must not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil God did not say touch. Also, note how Satan craft his question, You must not eat from any tree in the garden’? Where God stated these words, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil not all tree but only one tree. Adam and Eve were free eat any fruit accept the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. I am sure Satan was aware God gave these instructions to Adam. He was aware of this tree, his intent was to afflict as much harm on Adam and Eve and severed their relationship with God.  He meant every word He said, and Satan was aware of it. The seed of doubt took it root, and mankind would eventually fall into sin.

There’re several questions we should consider; Why did Adam not protect Eve from this crafty serpent since he was aware all creatures and how crafty the snake? What was Eve doing near the tree knowledge of good and evil? Why did Satan chose Eve instead Adam? Since none of us where there in the Garden of Eden, we’re  still living under God curse because of our sinful nature. We have only God’s word to draw from that they were at perfect peace with God, because both Eve, and Adam ate the forbidden fruit and disobeyed God commandment Adam and Eve fell into sin and they severed their relationship with were with God. Instead of Adam taking charge and being the spiritual leader, as God intended him to be. He chose to be a passive leader and ignored the pending danger that lay ahead of his wife Eve, and she was ready to travel down a dangerous path called sin. Whether Adam was next to the tree or not or was in another part of the garden. We do not know however, God likely warned Adam and he ignored it, or if he actually saw the whole incident and he chose to be passive instead of stopping her like the spiritual leader.

Instead, of submitting to Adam spiritual leadership Eve chose to exceed Adam headship and was eying the forbidden tree. Its worth noting that within every person DNA we tend to ignore the warning signs when we should walk the other away we tend to approached the edge of evil and we’re unaware of it danger, and we eventually take the bait fall into the devil trap.  As C.S Lewis quoted in the Screw Tapes Letter, “Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one–the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.”  As Randy Alcorn wrote in book called, Lord Foulgrin’s Letters ” “By eroding their sense of shame we’ve made immorality normal, not only in the world but also in the forbidden squadron. Their new Christian friends recommended some of the movies Fletcher had been wondering if he should now avoid. I was delighted one of them said, “This is a great movie–only one sex scene, and the f-word’s only used a few times. Think of it, Squaltaint. Suppose someone in the youth group said to the boys, ‘There’s an attractive girl down the street. Let’s get together and go look through her window and watch her undress and lay back on a couch and pose naked from the waist up. Then, this girl and her boyfriend will get in a car and have sex–let’s get as close as we can and listen to them and watch the windows steam up.’ The strategy would never work. They’d know immediately it was wrong. But, you can get them to do exactly the same thing by using a television instead of a window. That’s all is takes!”

Adam and Eve were unaware of danger that lay ahead. Eve was the weakest link and the easiest person to deceived, and Adam loved his wife and likely would follow the suit.  Than the serpent uttered these words, ” Surely you will not die! For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes would be open, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Note Satan uses half truths, it and was true they would know good and evil, Since they only knew good evil was not in their DNA; however, that they would not be like be God and not die was a lie. Remember Satan was toss out of heaven and took third angels with him Isaiah 14:12-17 and  Revelation 12:3- 4. Another factor is that Adam, and Eve would’ve severed their relationship with God and would lose their constant fellowship with God, and there would be constant wars, conflicts within their lives, and the human race, plus they no longer have domination over God’s creation

 Whatever the fruit was it was desirable to Eve eyes, and she took the fruit and ate it and gave one to her husband Adam and Eve ate it and they saw that they were naked and they were a shame and covered themselves with  fig leaves. As Jack Baur player by Kiefer Sutherland hit series 24, ” When you cross the line and always starts off small steps, before you know it, you’re running as fast as you can in the wrong direction. Just to justify we you started in the first place. These laws were written to protect us. As Calvin wrote, “ Hence, wherever sin is, there also are the wrath and vengeance of God. “

Even thou they were disobedience to LORD they never approached Him. Whether they thought they could workout for themselves or they were of afraid of God, or they were afraid to come close to God scripture simply state God approach them. I believe Richard J. Foster likely said bests in book called Celebration Of Discipline where echoed these words men and women without the Holy Spirit.”  Our ordinary method of the dealing with ingrained sin is to launch a frontal attack. We rely on our willpower and determination. Whenever may be the issue for us –––anger, fear, bitterness, gluttony, pride, less, substance abuse –––we are determined never to do it again; we pray against it, fight against it, set our will against it. But, the struggle is all in vain, and we find ourselves once again morally bankrupt or, worse yet, so proud of our external righteousness that whiten sepulchres is the mild of description our condition.” Heini Arnold from the little book entitled Freedom from Sinful Thought. Thoughts,” We –––want to make it quite clear that we cannot free and purify the own heart by asserting our own will power.” 

 Because Adam and Eve were in a helpless estate, Remember God warned them not to eat from the fruit  from the of good and evil, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die. on the day they ate the fruit they die spirituality and eventually  would die phyically.   Adam live to be 930 years old and died there’s no record of Eve death. as God promise Yet, God still was graciously to them and approach them, and established a covent with  Adam race.
