Reflections On The Resurrection

Reflections On The Resurrection

When Jesus cleansed the temple complex because they were selling oxen, sheep, and doves, along money exchanger

So the Jews replied to Him,” What sign of authority will You show us for doing these things?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this sanctuary, and I will raise it up in three days.” While the scribes and Pharisees, wanted we want to see a sign from Jesus.

Jesus also declared He would be in the stomach of a big fish for three days and nights, just as the Son of Man will be deep in the earth for three days and nights. Jesus declared to his disciples in Mark 8:31Matthew 17:22; Luke 9:22 That Son of Man would be handed over to Chief priests and the teachers would  kill Him, and on the third day He would raise up.” And the disciples  were deeply distressed. Apostle Peter took Jesus aside and rebuke Him.

In  Psalm 16;10; For You will not abandon me to Sheol; You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay. Anthropology did study and found that a dead starts decaying after 72 hours. it worn repeating study again, ” Human Death and Decay,  “As the cells die, bacteria within the body begin breaking them down. Enzymes in the pancreas cause the organ to digest itself. The body soon takes on a gruesome appearance and smells. Decomposing tissue emits a green substance, as well as gasses such as methane and hydrogen sulfide. The lungs expel fluid through the mouth and nose.  As Martha stated, Martha, “Lord, he’s already decaying ! It’s been four days.

Isaiah 53:9 declared that He would be assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death.

When Jesus gave up His spirit a soldier pierced His side with a spear, and at once blood, and water came out.  When Joseph a member of the Sanhedrin who had not agreed with their plan and action. Toke Jesus down from the cross He gave him proper burial according to the burial custom of the Jews, and buried him his tomb. Nicodemus (who had previously come to Him at night) also came, bringing a mixture of about 75 pounds of myrrh and aloes. Then, they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it in linen cloths with the aromatic spices.

He was buried with “the rich” in an honorable burial through the donated tomb of rich Joseph of Arimathea (Matt. 27:57–60; Mark 15:42–46; Luke 23:50–53; John 19:38–40  Fulfilling Isaiah spoken in Isaiah 53:9

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary observed the tomb and where His body was placed.  Then, they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.

After the preparation and burial, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered together went to Pilate, and said, “Sir, we remember that when He was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I am to rise again.’ Therefore, give orders for the grave to be made secure until the third day; otherwise, His disciples may come and steal Him away and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead,’ and the last deception will be worse than the first.”  Pilate said to them, “You have a guard; go, make it as secure as you know how.” And they went and made the grave secure, and along with the guard they set a seal on the stone.

When speaking  prior to His crucifixion Jesus predicted his death and resurrection to his disciple that he would be handed over to Elders, Chief Priest, and legal expects and would be crucified and die and after three days He would rise again. Since Jesus already fulfill this first part of His prediction by dying on Calgary Cross and buried Rich man sepulchre.

Chuck Swindoll, utter these words several times. Since, the disciples and two Marys were unaware  of Mathew 28 because they’re still living in Matthew 27. Even thou Jesus predicated it would occur. Now Matthew 28 will unfold  as Jesus predicated.

On the third day, violent earthquake, and an angel appeared clothing as white as snow and the guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men and they fled the grave site and reported to the chief priest what transpired. And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.”  And if this should come to the governor’s ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble.” And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely spread among the Jew to this day.

On the same day Mary Magdalene and, the other Mary went to where Jesus was buried finished the preparation, bringing the spices with them and view the tomb and was empty. They went into the tomb. An angel of the Lord was in the tomb dressed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; they were amazed and alarmed. He said   ” Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.  He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there just as He told you.'” that He has risen from the dead. So they went out and started running from the tomb, because trembling, and astonishment overwhelmed them. Mary went to the disciple and said, “The tomb was empty

So Peter and John went forth, and they went to the tomb. The two were running together; and John ran faster than Peter and came to the tomb first;  and stooping and looking in, he *saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in.  And  Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. So the John who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. At the time, they went back to their own homes and their vocations.

Accordingly,  the Apostle Paul   For I delivered to you on first importance what I also received, from Christ. He died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas {Simon Peter} then to the twelve.  After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all. He appeared to me also

People who saw Jesus after His death:

Jesus without doubt is one the key figure in history, Yet  Wikipedia claims Jesus has several burial sites, There located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. A second site, known as the Garden Tomb, located just outside Jerusalem the Old City.  Other key religious leader such as Muhammad, Confucius, and Bahá’í  you know where they were buried For example: Muhammad is buried in the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi, The grave of Confucius, founder of Confucianism, is in his home town of Qufu, Shandong Province, China, and Bábism The Shrine of the Báb, the burial location of the Báb, the founder of Bábism and one of three central figures of the Bahá’í Faith, is located on Mount Carmel, in Haifa, Israel. Yet, the historian can only speculated where Jesus was buried.

It is also the key to the Christian faith. The core of are walk. Logically how can someone pray to someone who is dead how can that hear your prayers when they’re dead?    Dr. Henry Morris wrote these words concerning Jesus  resurrection “, the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the crowning proof of Christianity. Everything else that was said or done by Christ and the apostles are secondary in importance to the resurrection. If the resurrection did not take place then, Christianity is a false religion. If it did take place, then Christ is God and the Christian faith is absolute truth.

Another factor that sin is the cause and the effect of  physical and spiritual death.

“Death is our greatest enemy, and it has conquered all men but Christ. No man is wise enough to outwit death or wealthy enough to purchase freedom from death or strong enough to vanquish death. The grave always wins the victory, and every person sooner or later returns to the dust.” In fact, the inexorable triumph of death applies not only to people, but to all things. Animals die, and plants die, and even whole species atrophy and become extinct. Cities and nations, like people, are born and grow for a season, and then fade away. Homes and automobiles and clothes wear out and must eventually go back to the dust, just as do their owners. Even the universe itself is running down and heading toward an ultimate “heat death.” Or the apostle Paul wrote, ” and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.

Remember the disciples they were scattered when chief priest, and legal expect arrested Jesus and  the disciples lived in fear for their lives as scripture states, ” Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little one.” After Pentecost  when 120 followers of Jesus were upper room praying requested by Jesus. The Holy Spirit descended upon them, and they became to speak in tongues and the apostle Peter preached the gospel. Later on, chief priests and the Pharisees order John and Peter threatens them  beat them in Acts 4. The key was the resurrection of Jesus Christ all they had to is point to His empty tomb. The Pharisees and Sadducees had to produce the body, and the apostles would be the laughing stock of community and no one would take them serious.

2 Peter 1:16 “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were EYEWITNESSES of his majesty.”

  • And these men went so far as seal their testimony with their blood! They died a horrible and martyrs death!
  • There is no way; these 12 men could have all been deceived.
  • For this reason—these 12 men not only died for a lie—and here is the catch—THEY KNEW IT WAS A LIE!
  • If the resurrection of Jesus Christ a lie—THEY KNEW IT!

Professor Thomas Arnold, former chair of history at Oxford, and author of the famous volumes, History of Rome, was skillfully educated in the study of historical facts. Professor Arnold, stated, “I have been used for many years to study the histories of other times, and to examine and weigh the evidence of those who have written about them, and I know of no one fact in the history of mankind which is PROVED BY BETTER AND FULLER EVIDENCE of every sort, than the great sign which God has given us that Christ died and rose again from the dead.”

After investigating the evidence of the resurrection, Lord Darling, former Chief Justice of England, stated, “. . . There is such overwhelming evidence, positive and negative, factual, and circumstantial, that no intelligent jury in the world could fail to bring in a verdict that the resurrection story is true.” Now to deny the resurrection of Jesus Christ you have to close your eyes to the overwhelming facts of history. Tim Keller penned these words, “If Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to accept all that he said; if he didn’t rise from the dead, then why worry about any of what he said? The issue on which everything hangs is not whether or not you like his teaching but whether or not he rose from the dead.”

Jesus is alive!!

if  believe in His atoning works you will have eternal life with Christ. Martha Tigchelaar my mother died on March 08 2012. What comfort our family most I’ll see one day in heaven. As King David declares, “I’ll go to him, but he will never return to me.”

As written in scriptures, ” O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”  Furthermore, it  is written in the Old Testament, “I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. Death, where are your barbs? Sheol, where is your sting?”

Christianity is the most persecuted people throughout history because of their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ eleven of the twelve apostles were martyred because their strong belief in the resurrection of Christ.

If the disciples took Jesus body the  common belief in that time frame. You would think at least one. The disciples  would reveal where Jesus body is, certainly chief priest, nor the guards kept watch over the grave site would not reveal their secret meeting The guards would have lost their lives if Roman authority found out they abandoned their posts.

The chief priests, Pharisee, and the legal expect hated Jesus, and put Him to death.  If the mass would have known their intent of killing Him, and  covering up the resurrection it also would have expose their hypocrisy to the people.  As Jesus stated the disciples, “If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it; the world hates you. Remember if world attack you remember they attack Jesus first. As scripture declares,” Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ—the righteousness from God based on faith.  My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead. NT Write wrote, ” The resurrection completes the inauguration of God’s kingdom…It is the decisive event demonstrating that God’s kingdom really has been launched on earth as it is in heaven.

  John 2;19

Matthew 27:61

Good Friday

 Good Friday

Good Friday or Holy Friday For the follower of Christ is the most important day of their lives. Where Jesus Christ loves us, and willingly went to the cross and sacrifice Himself on it, and took mankind sins and His Father wrath to bridge the gap between His Father and mankind As scriptures declares,  2 Cor. 5:21

Even thou the Bible does not explicitly state on which day of the week Jesus was crucified. However, in Mark 15;42 it states And when evening had come, since it was lthe day of Preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

Stuart my brother told me this story about Jesus carrying his cross-prior to his execution. He kept falling down, however, He kept getting back up because He had a mission to accomplish to be obedient His Father will and this work had to be accomplished. While this narrative is not told in the Bible, yet  that was his mission taking mankind sins and Father wrath to bridge the gap between mankind and His Father?

Prior to His crucifixion his disciples celebrated Passover where Jesus established a new convent in which the disciples to observe

Where Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take and eat it; this is My body.”  Then, He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He gave it to them and said, “Drink from it, all of you.  For this is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is the shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in remembrance of Me?

Where Jesus  fell facedown and prayed, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.” John MacArthur wrote Christ would “bear the sins of many” (Heb. 9:28)—and the fullness of divine wrath would fall on Him (Is. 53:10, 11; 2 Cor. 5:21). This was the price of the sin He bore, and He paid it in full. His cry of anguish. Reformed Bible Study wrote In, “6:39 cup. See 20:23 note. Jesus is horrified at the prospect of enduring His Father’s wrath. Jesus had to face death knowing that His Father would not be with Him, but against Him in wrath of judgment.

He was arrested, tried, convicted, and brought before Pilate even thou there was no formal charges . The Jewish method executing the  guilty party is stoning. Only the Romans had authority to execute criminals; however, they could not use blasphemy. The Roman method execution was crucifixion.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees brought Jesus to Pilate who was the Government of Judah. Pilate said, “What charges are you bringing against this man?” They responded, “If he were not a criminal, we would not have handed him over to you.” So Pilate told them, “Take Him yourselves and judge Him according to your law.”” But, we have no right to execute anyone,” they objected. This took place to fulfill what Jesus predicted what kind of death he would die. John 3:14 As “Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up.”

The only thing they could mustard up was that claim that Jesus was Son Of God or the Messiah the king. Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people, and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was inciting, the people to rebellion. I have examined him in your presence and have found no basis for your charges against him. Neither has Herod, for he sent him back to us; as you can see, he has done nothing to deserve death. Therefore, I will punish him and then release him.

Remember Pilate heard reports, and written report on Jesus, and saw that it was quite clear that He wasn’t leading a military revolution. There was simply no evidence support the Jewish leaders charges. The Chief Priests  and Pharisees, eventually admitted the real reason why they wanted Jesus dead, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.”

Now, it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd.  At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus Barabbas. So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked for them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus  the Messiah?”  For Pilate knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him. Pilate wife warns him not have anything to do with them because he would innocent.

But, the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to asked to release Barabbas and crucify Jesus.   Because of the hatred to Christ and their spiritual blindness they wanted Jesus died. “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked for the governor. “Barabbas,” they answered. “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify him!” “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But, they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting; he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our  children!

Then, he released Barabbas to them although he was  found guilty of insurrection. Pilate found no charges against Jesus. Yet, He was executed Jesus replaced the sinner.   Even thou Pilate declared Jesus innocent he condemned him, and sent to His death. Then, Pilate symbolically washed his hands in front of the crowd, telling them he was innocent of Jesus’ blood. He found Jesus not guilty to keep the peace with  The Jewish leader pronounce Jesus to be crucify .

Linda Alchin wrote a piece on Roman Crucifixion and wrote these words. ” Death by Roman crucifixion was a result of the whole body weight being supported by the stretched arms. When nailed to the cross there was a massive strain put on the wrists, arms, and shoulders often resulting in a dislocation of the shoulder and elbow joints. The rib cage was constrained in a fixed position, which made it extremely difficult to exhale, and impossible to take a full breath. The victim would continually try to draw himself up by his feet to allow for inflation of the lungs enduring terrible pain in his feet and legs. The pain in the feet and legs became unbearable, and the victim was forced to trade breathing for pain. The length of time required to die from crucifixion could range from hours to several days.

While hanging on the cross the crowd, the leader, and the two thieves were mocking Him. Eventually would be abandoned by His Father.

I witness someone who had emphysema cause by second hand smoke it not easy to watched them struggle for oxygen not pretty pictures.

I can imagine going through the pain and anguish Jesus went through. For example, every time I got extremely ill I was not the most gentle person to be around with, if anything I could be ill-mannered, harsh, and unsympathetic, not the gentle spirit to all men during those times as scripture declares. Or another example when I was in the hospital in recovering from an operation in which they removed my second toe due resulting from diabetes. A patient who was next to me names George not his real name had pneumonia, asthma, and an extremely sore back. However, he was allergic to penicillin and Tylenol 3. Every time his back would seize up it would become very painful, and he would start cursing and taking the Lord’s name in vain. When the condemned criminal had been in intense pain or  agony while hanging on the cross the condemned would start cursing Rome resulting from the lack of oxygen to the brain. The Roman soldiers would eventually cut the tongue to silence them. Sinful man tends to blame to God in times of trouble water were mankind was responsible for mess there in because of the fall Adam and Eve they themselves committing their own sins.

Despite his agonizing pain. Jesus still did not sin, nor He violates God ordinance. His last seven words were source  encouragement and blessing to others.

• “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” Luke 23:34. He was hanging on the cross-resulting from mankind sin not His own and paying the sin debt that mankind violated and they were the unaware full scope of theirs sins, along Jesus was the lamb of God who take away the sins of the world. (Jn 1:29.

• ” Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”  Luke 23:43 Ensuring the thief would enter Heaven’s Gate or garden as forgiven a sinner.

• Woman, this is your son.” Then he said to the disciple: “This is your mother.” Ensuring that His earthly mother was cared for when He departed into glory

•My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27; 46. All Of mankind sins fell upon Him. Jesus bore His Father wrath resulting from mankind sin. Cor. 5:21

• “I thirst.” Gospel of John 19:28   The worst ordeal that of bearing in the place of His people the wrath of God against sin (Matt. 27:46; Mark 15:34), is over. He also was fulfilling prophecy in Ps 69;21.

• “It is finished”; John 19;30 The sin debt is now paid in full. The entire work of redemption had been brought to completion. Jesus died as a victor and had accomplished His Tasks

• Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” Luke 23:46 His Father was satisfied and accepted His payment of the sin debt and, His Father was satisfied with payment of sin since He committed no sin. Prophecy was fulfilled Ps 34; 20, He protects all his bones, not one of them was broken. 34:20 not one of them is broken. John 19:36 applies this verse to Christ, the only perfect righteous Man.

George Macleod wrote these words, “I simply argue that the cross should be raised at the center of the marketplace as well as on the steeple of the church. I am recovering the claim that Jesus was not crucified in a cathedral between two candles, but on a cross between two thieves; on the town’s garbage heap; at a crossroad so cosmopolitan that they had to write His title in Hebrew and Latin and Greek … at the kind of place where cynics talk smut, and thieves curse, and soldiers gamble. Because that is where He died. And that is what He died for. And that is what He died about. That is where churchmen ought to be and what churchmen ought to be about.”  As scripture declares, “Therefore, since Christ suffered in His body, arm yourself with this same attitude, because He who has suffered in his body is done with sin.”

Got question wrote  The Bible does not instruct Christians to remember Christ’s death by honoring a certain day. The Bible does give us freedom in these matters, however. Romans 14:5 tells us, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” Rather than remembering Christ’s death on a certain day, once a year, the Bible instructs us to remember Christ’s death by observing the Lord’s Supper. First Corinthians 11:24-26 declares, “…do this in remembrance of me…for whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

Expositor’s Bible Commentary wrote these words, “That Christ, treated as if he were a sinner, became the object of God’s wrath and bore the penalty and guilt of sin.”  Furthermore they wrote, “Just as “the righteousness of God ” is extrinsic to us, so the sin with which Christ totally identified himself was extrinsic to him. He never had a sinful attitude or did a sinful act.”

He came as savour not as warrior. He came as lamb not a lion. He came set us free from our sins.

For the Christians it not a sad day its day of celebrating because they no longer need carry the curse of sin instead wearing theirs sinful clothes they’re now wearing Christ clothes

Hiro Nakamura fictional character in Hero uttered these  words, To eulogize him is to admit he is gone. My father is not dead. Kaito “Nakamura taught me right from wrong. What it means to be a hero. So long as his lessons live through me he will never die. My father taught me to understand that  certain things are in God’s hands. But for everything else God gave us the gift of choice. My father gave me the tools to fight the battles ahead. Every hand I extend in kindness is his hand, and every blow I strike for justice is his fist. So long as the lessons he taught me stays in me and so long as he lives in my heart then my father is not truly dead.

As scripture declares, “I have been crucified with Christ and me no longer live, but Christ lives in me.The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” hero season two Ep 9 Hiro Nakamura  fictional character

Preparing Place For The Saints

John 14; 1-2

John 14; 1-2 when Jesus told His disciples that He will longer be with them in John 13:33, 36 they were troubled. However. In the next twenty fours Jesus would betrayed by a friend with a kiss, another friend would denied him  three times, He would be tried, whipped, beaten crucified, mocked by the crowd and two thieves, abandoned by His Father in heaven and all mankind sins along His Father wrath fell upon Him  He encouraged and comfort his disciples in times affliction. As John MacArthur wrote Instead of the disciples lending support to Jesus in the hour of greatest need before His cross, He had to support them spiritually as well as emotionally. This reveals His heart of serving love. Matt. 20:26–28). troubled. Faith in Him can stop the heart from being agitated.

John Calvin wrote, “We ought always to attend to the time when these words were spoken, that Christ wished his disciples to remain brave and courageous, when they might think that every thing was in the greatest confusion; and therefore we ought to employ the same shield for warding off such assaults. It is impossible for us, indeed, to avoid feeling various emotions, but though we are shaken, we must not fall down. Thus it is said of believers, that they are not troubled, because, relying on the word of God, though very great difficulties press hard upon them, still they remain stedfast and upright. My sister once said it’s ok to fall along you get back up however, it not ok if you do not get back up.

Believe in God; believe also in Me. The Greek word believe is pisteuō meaning to believe or entrust or  to have confidence in}Same word is found five times in  John 3;14-18 also found 244 times though out New Testament.

Jesus promises His disciples that would be many dwelling places in His Father house believes me the dwelling place will be filled with people. Reformed Bible Study. “14:2 many rooms. While the road is narrow and the gate small that lead to life (Matt. 7:14), it is also true that the number of Abraham’s children is like the sand on the shore and the stars in the sky (Gen. 22:17), “a great multitude that no one could number” (Rev. 7:9).

John 14:3  Reformed Bible Study wrote Prepare a place for you. Christ prepares the place in heaven for His own, and the Holy Spirit prepares the redeemed on earth for their place in heaven. See “Heaven” at Rev. 21:1.

NKJV Bible  Study wrote, I will come again and receive you: Peter may have failed Jesus (13:38), but Christ will not fail to return for Peter and for everyone else who has believed in Him (see 1 Thess. 4:16, 17).

Calvin wrote,”The Son of God, then, who is Jesus Christ, holds out himself as the object to which our faith ought to be directed, and by means of which it will easily find that on which it can rest; for he is the true Immanuel, who answers us within, as soon as we seek him by faith. It is one of the leading articles of our faith, that our faith ought to be directed to Christ alone, that it may not wander through long windings; and that it ought to be fixed on him, that it may not waver in the midst of temptations.

Calvin also wrote In a word, “Christ did not ascend to heaven in a private capacity, to dwell there alone, but rather that it might be the common inheritance of all the godly, and that in this way the Head might be united to his members.”

Romans 10; 9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Believer Bible Commentary wrote The Lord Jesus went to Calvary to prepare a place for His own. It is through His atoning death that believers are assured a place there

Lastly all of mankind has a starting point in their journey and ending point we all die. We’re sojourner passing through as scripture states, ‘a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; or another passages states; And just as it is appointed for people to die Once and after this, judgment.”

I AM The Way The Truth And The Life

John14;6 When Jesus declares that He was the way the truth and the life He was declaring He alone is only the way through heaven gates. Its through the atoning works of the cross that salvation is accomplished, and will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Believer Bible Commentary wrote, “The way to God is not by the Ten Commandments, the Golden Rule, ordinances, church membership—it is through Christ and Christ alone.” As scriptures declares,”A road will be there and a way; it will be called the Holy Way.The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for the one who walks the path.

To proclaim that there are many roads to heaven is to misleading the people and forget the necessity of Jesus coming and His redemption plan to mankind. Dr. S Lewis Johnson wrote,  “Well now that’s a mighty exclusive way of salvation. Yes it is exclusive, in fact it rules out everything else. The world truly hates the idea of the exclusive nature of Christianity’s claims. They think it is so narrow minded or so arrogant for anyone to suggest that salvation is only found in Jesus Christ.”It’s fatal to get on the wrong road to salvation.

Remember Jesus stated “I am the way, the truth, the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me.” Either He is lying or telling the truth.

Dr. S Lewis Johnson wrote, “Call it narrow minded, it’s Jesus Christ’s way, it’s Paul’s way. Call it arrogant, it’s Jesus Christ’s way, it’s Paul’s way, it’s Peter’s way, it’s the way of the Scriptures.” Further more he wrote, “ But so far as the way of salvation is concerned, the Scriptures are plain and clear, we trust Christ. , “I’m the way the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”

Dr. S.Lewis Johnson wrote, “we are going to the Father’s house by way of the Son who is in union with the Father. Now if this is true, then all other ways are wrong ways. When a man leaves the rest of the crowd and goes out and gets on the airplane of good works, he’s got on the wrong plane. “For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.” If a man leaves the gate and goes out and gets on the airplane of the way of reformation, he’s gotten on the wrong plane, he’s going to the wrong place.”

It is through His atoning death that believers are assured a place there.

Calvin wrote,”He lays down three degrees, as if he had said, that he is the beginning, and the middle, and the end; and hence it follows that we ought to begin with him, to continue in him, and to end in him.

Lastly all of mankind has a starting point on their journey here on earth and ending point were they would die. We’re all sojourner passing through as scripture states, ‘a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; or another passages states; And just as it is appointed for people to die Once and after this, judgment.”  Or Jesus stated, “”Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

Reflection on Psalm 50 Part Three

Psalm 50; 16-21

Asaph meaning collector was a gatekeeper from the line Korah  one of David’s worship leaders (see Ps. 39 introduction and 1 Chron. 15:17ff.; 16:4ff. A group of eleven psalms attributed to Asaph is found in 73–83.

Psalm 50; 16-21 But God says to the wicked:“What right do you have to recite My statutes and to take My covenant on your lips?  You hate instruction and turn your back on My words.”

These people were part of Jewish community and love to recite God’s divine law, however, they no interest conforming to  his  ordinances and prefer the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. Instead of feeding sheep they would fleece them. They loaded people with burdens that were hard to carry, yet they didn’t lift fingers the burden.God was exposing their hypocrisy sins against the seventh, eighth, an ninth commandments. Exodus 20;15-17

As the Apostle Paul wrote in Ro 2:21, 23.You, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?  You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?  You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?  God offered them truth, but these people chose falsehoods over truth. They had seen the light but preferred to live in darkness (John 3:16–21).

John Calvin Commentary wrote, “This may explain the frequency of the warnings which we find in the prophets upon this subject, declaring to the ungodly again and again, that they only aggravate their guilt by assuming the semblance of piety. Loudly as the Spirit of God has asserted, that a form of godliness, unaccompanied by the grace of faith and repentance, is but a sacrilegious abuse of the name of God; it is yet impossible to drive the Papists out of the devilish delusion, that their idlest services are sanctified by what they call their final intention.

Furthermore he wrote.”And thus, if a monk rise from the bed of his adultery to chant a few psalms without one spark of godliness in his breast, or if a whoremonger, a thief, or any foresworn villain, seeks to make reparation for his crimes by mass or pilgrimage, they would be loath to consider this lost labour. By God, on the other hand, such a disjunction of the form from the inward sentiment of devotion is branded as sacrilege.

Warren Wiersbe, wrote, “ Their thinking was so confused that they ended up creating a god in their own image Ps 50 v. 21. God was in the hands of ignorant sinners! They had forgotten God (Rom. 1:22-28) and didn’t want Him to interfere with their lifestyle. They had a false confidence that they could sin and get away with it. In short since God did not speak it in bold them to continue to violate God’s law. Even thou God was showing patients and mercury instead administer judgment on them

Warren Wiersbe Study Bible wrote, These are not “old covenant sins,” for believers today who live under the new covenant can be just as guilty of committing them. For example there are some follower of Christ would say I am preaching the gospel or they really believe they’re evangelical thinking are they really ?

A true Christian evangelism would declare Jesus as Lord, and preaches we’re all sinner and need to be atones for theirs sins through the blood of Jesus Christ. As Jesus declares, “For this is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. As scriptures declares. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.”  Yet another passages states,  “Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.”

Helping someone in need is good thing for instance serving hot beverage on cold day or warming clothing to those who are need on chilly night or assisting some who need help establishing themselves in Canada are noble things, however, is the gospel ? While some uses this tool as a means reaching the lost while others use as a social gospel yet they call it the gospel or evangelizing. In reality they hated Christ’s instruction and his atoning works and they persecuted those who teach it even thou  they tend to declare they’re speaking on Christ behave, when they’re rejecting the true gospel? As Jesus declared,  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot.  So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth. In short they only ofter lip serve to Christ

The best way unmasks their hypocrite  falsehood is to test them. As scriptures declares,  Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.  But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now.

Warren Wiersbe Study Bible wrote,  Once again, the silence of God is mentioned Ps 50 v. 21; God is long-suffering with sinners, but these wicked people interpreted God’s silence as His approval.

Psalm 50 Part Two

Psalm 50 Part Two

Psalm 50; 7-15  Psalm50:8–13, Psalm 40:6

50:9–13 states I will not accept a bull from your household or male goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is Mine,

The cattle on a thousand hills is Mine. I know every bird of the mountains, and the creatures of the field are Mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and everything in it is Mine. Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

Believer Commentary wrote;  They had been faithful in bringing their burnt offerings. But, the trouble was that they thought these rituals completely discharged their obligations to Jehovah. They were like girls who treat their mother indifferently throughout the year, then smother her with chocolates on her birthday! Or like sons who never thank their father for all he does for them, then give him a gift tie on Father’s Day!  So Jehovah protests that while they had loaded His altar with sacrificial animals, they had treated Him personally with cold neglect.

NKJV Study Bible wrote, The sacrifices were commanded by God in Leviticus, but the people had difficulty keeping a godly perspective on the nature of sacrifices. Every beast of the forest: The people were not doing God a favor by bringing their animals, for everything belonged to Him anyway. He knows every bird and beast.

For example in Isaiah, 1:14 it “I hate your new moon festivals and your appointed feasts, They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. Yet, God instituted them found in   Ex. 12:16; Lev. 23; Num. 10:10; 28:11—29:40; Deut. 16:1–17).

John MacArthur wrote will not take a bull from your house. God refuses mere ritual; it is an abomination to Him. He, unlike the pagan deities, needs nothing; He created everything and owns everything.

For example, while one person would jump up and down yet another person would be on the ground laughing like  henna  making strange noises, while another is speaking in tongues. While another person is lifting their hands Yet another person is sitting like a bump on log being quite as a mouse. Who is actually honouring God? They all believe they are worshipping and pleasing Him. The better question is God pleased and is it honouring him what doing?

The Westminster confession of faith and catechisms; Q. 1. What is the chief and highest end of man?

Man’s chief and highest end is to glorify God, and fully to enjoy him forever. Note it does not say how to glorify to God, and fully to enjoy him forever. It not the style it’s the intent behind it

Psalm 50:14–15 states Sacrifice a thank giving offering to God, and pay your vows to the Most High.  Call on Me in a day of trouble will rescue you, and you will honor Me.”

Thanksgiving when last time you thank God for sending His one only Son to take your place instead complaining how you should worship God you should thanking Him for sending His one  only Son who purchases your sins on the cross. Believer Bible Commentary wrote No gift can ever take the place of simple gratitude.

Vows; In Matthew 5:37 Jesus stated let yes be yes and your no be no Anything more than this is from the evil one. In James 5:12 it states do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. Your “yes” must be “yes,” and your “no” must be “no,” so that you won’t fall under judgment. When you agreed do something your honour that agreement if do not God will hold you accountable?

For example in 1 Samuel, 18:3 Johathan made a covenant  with David. He also swore to father Saul that he would not wipe out his name from his family.” 1 Samuel 24; 21-22 . Both Saul and Jonathan were kill in battle  1 Samuel 31:2,6 Now that Saul and Jonathan were dead, and David was king; it would have been easy for David to forget his commitment. But, David not only remembered his commitment to Saul; he went far beyond it.

David asked, “Is anyone left from the royal house of Saul? If there is, I want to be kind to him because of Jonathan.” 2 Samuel 9:1 Jonathan had son named Mephibosheth who was a cripple in both feet  2 Samuel 4:4 who live land of Lo debar meaning waste land or desolation or land of nothing

Than David sent one his servant brought Mephibosheth back to king palace. Fearing for his life bow down before the king uttered these words, ” I am your servant

Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!”  2 Samuel 9:3-7

Moral of the story is let your yes be yes and no be no alway honour your promises. Mephibosheth had nothing ofter the king since he was a cripple in both feet 2 Samuel 4:4

King David was Type of Christ showing kindness to Mephibosheth  as Christ shows kindness by redeeming mankind

David servant Ziba. Is type of the Holly Spirit sending forth good news to Mephibosheth as the Holy Spirit reminds us of Jesus atoning of works

Mephibosheth was the type of sinner who is hopeless  ensnares   resulting from his physical disabilities as mankind is helpless entangled resulting from the curse of sin. We all born with a disabilities called sin. Our hearts are imperfect. Our souls and spirits are imperfect. Our minds are imperfect. Jeremiah wrote,” The heart is more deceitful than anything else, and incurable—who can understand it?

Mephibosheth did not earn the King’s favor. David did not bless Mephibosheth because of anything he had done. These blessings were freely given to him as a gift. And they were a gift that he could never repay.

Chuck Swindoll wrote Grace is “extending special favor to someone who doesn’t deserve it who hasn’t earned it, and can never repay it…Grace is a demonstration of love that is undeserved, unearned, and unrepayable.

Similar to person was redeemed from their sins they did not deserve it nor earns it and could not never pay it back it was a gift from God The covenant that God made with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden Genesis 3;15,21  was fulfilled through Jesus Christ  God graciously converts the depraved woman’s affections from Satan to Himself{Jesus}.

Take My Life and Let It Be written by Frances R. Havergal,  Take my life and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take my moments and my days, Let them flow in endless praise. Take my hands and let them move At the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet and let them be Swift and beautiful for Thee. Take my voice and let me sing, Always, only for my King. Take my lips and let them be Filled with messages from Thee. Take my siver and my gold, Not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect and use Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose. Take my will and make it Thine, It shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is Thine own, It shall be Thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour At Thy feet its treasure store. Take myself and I will be Ever, only, all for Thee.

Reflections on Psalm 50

Asaph meaning collector was a gatekeeper from the line Korah one of David’s worship leaders (see Ps. 39 introduction and 1 Chron. 15:17ff.; 16:4ff. A group of eleven psalms attributed to Asaph is found in 73–83.
Psalm 50; 1-6 ;In 50:1 Yahweh,YHWH, or Jehovah. JHVH or LORD meaning “I AM WHO I AM meaning self existence and eternality; who is/will be Or I AM BECAUSE I AM, or I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE in Exodus 3;14-15 it states, “, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation. God of the past, present and future He always existed. the word – LORD – appears 7830 times throughout the Bible
Eight times Jesus utter the words I AM; I AM the Bread of Life John 6:35, 41, 48,51, I AM the Light of the World John 8:12 I AM the Door of the Sheep, John 10:7,9, I AM the Good Shepherd John 10:11,14, I AM the Resurrection and the Life John 11:25, I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life John 14:6, I AM the True Vine John 15:1,5, andI Am The Messiah John 4;26
John MacArthur wrote, “ The “He” in this translation is not in the original Gr. for Jesus lit. said “I who speak to you am.” The usage of “I am” is reminiscent of 8:58 Jesus said to them, “I assure you: Before Abraham was, I am. MacArthur also wrote,”Here Jesus declared Himself to be Yahweh, i.e., the Lord of the OT. Basic to the expression are such passages as Ex. 3:14; Deut. 32:39; Is. 41:4; 43:10 where God declared Himself to be the eternally pre-existent God who revealed Himself in the OT to the Jews. See also notes on vv. 24, 28.
The God of gods means Mighty God . El, God, or Elohim meaning three names of God Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Elohim is the Hebrew meaning plural in form but singular in meaning. The singular form of Elohim is probably Eloah. im suffix in Hebrew indicates the plural form. NKJV wrote,” Even though the word for God is plural, the verb for created is singular For example in Genesis 1;1 In the beginning God Elohim created the heavens and the earth. It is one of the most common names for God in the Old Testament, starting in the very first verse: “In the beginning [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). The name Elohim occurs over 2,500 times in the Tanakh meaning Hebrew Bible. At Jesus’ baptism we have all three Persons of Elohim present: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16–17).
When Jesus cried out from the cross, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (Mark 15:34), He addressed the Father with a form of Elohim, Eloi. Mark translates Jesus’ statement for us: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
What about Trinitarianism? Does the fact that Elohim is plural suggest the triune nature of God? It is best to understand the word construction as a plural of majesty; that is, writing “Elohim” is a stylistic way of emphasizing greatness, power, and prestige. With that said, and in light of the overall teaching of the Bible, the plural form of Elohim certainly allows for the further revelation of God’s triune nature; the Old Testament hints at the Trinity in order to prepare people for the Messiah who would be much more than a human prophet. When Jesus appeared, He more fully revealed mysteries hinted at in the Old Testament. At Jesus’ baptism we have all three Persons of Elohim present: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16–17).
50:1 Summons the earth from east to west declaring he is God appears in radiance. 50:2, 3 That He is coming; He will not be silent! He coming to Judge His people. Ps. 51:4. As Scripture declares,” So You are right when You pass sentence; You are blameless when You judge. The heaven will declare His Righteousness His Justice will fair and right who able stand up against Him
As Job declared when God appear before Him, Job 40:3–5 “Therefore I take back my words and repent in dust and ashes. I am so insignificant. How can I answer You? I place my hand over my mouth. 5 I have spoken once, and I will not reply; twice, but now I can add nothing.” Meaning Job declared himself guilty. He should not have insisted on his own understanding. He should not have thought God unjust.
On Aug, 08 1976 I accept the Jesus as my Savour and Lord in condensed version. My testimony I wrote Birdie gave several verses Psalm 32; 1- 3 & 1 John 1; 8 – 9 later on she tack on Psalm 51 Our session came to a close & was glad and left.
However did read until Psalm 51 verse 4 where stated, Against You, You only, I have sinned And done what is evil in Your sight, So that You are justified when You speak And blameless when You judge. I closed the Bible,
There were still two forces working within me that day? One accusing of being one evil SOB and in which I was guilty as charged. I violated God’s moral law I hated all Christian’s bottom line I hated God I was without excuse. To me religion and God, I was not interested it.
The God terrified me when my brother suddenly died in car crash was convicting of my immoral behavior. The God terrified me was within his rights to pronounce judgement me.
At the time, It appeared that I was without hope I closed the Bible yet this still gnawed me. I had many thoughts operating within my thoughts as earlier stated two forces were working within me. One was the encourager the. Other was the accuser. It felt as though I was in wrestling match.
One of the thoughts that pop into my head & it was clear as a bell. Our next door neighbor allows our family use their cottage for a week at Lake Muskogee. My youngest brother & I was bouncing on diving board on the dock & he fell into the lake & would’ve drowned, if wasn’t for my sister Marcia who was on the dock at the time she jump in & held him until someone pulled him of the lake. At the time, I was paralyzed with fear & thought I pushed him in the lake, & this tormented me for many years.
Instantaneously another concept pop in my brain.
When roughly seven-year old I remember being on the lower diving board at Macklin pool ready to jump into 10 feet of water & was apprehensively generally more like cold feet nonetheless in the pool was my sister Marcia who was encouraging me to jump in which I finality did. What I needed to do is trust in the spirit of faith in which it was encouraging me to leap into the unknown.
Even thou I did not fully understand it. The only thing I knew was some guy name Jesus died on a cross for all the wrongs things we did. A story told by my mother throughout my childhood years.
Around a kitchen table at Christian retreat Center called L’Abri in front of several witness. I simply asked for Jesus to forgive me & thank him. I felt a huge that burden was lifted from me & felt free indeed. All the things that hung around & haunted me instantaneously vanish.
God heard my prayer. God also heard another prayer that day my mother and sister Marcia prayer her foolish rebellious son and brother are now believer. As scripture says in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents.

More Prophecies On Jesus Christ

More Prophecies On Jesus Christ

  1. His preexistence: Micah 5:2; John 1:1,14
  2. Born of the seed of a woman :Genesis 3:15; Matthew 1:18
  3. Of the seed of Abraham; Genesis 12:3: Matthew 1:1-16
  4. All nations blessed by Abraham’s seed: Genesis 12;3   Matthew 8:5,10
  5. God would provide Himself a Lamb as an offering   Genesis 22:8 John1:29

His Preexistence

 Micah 5:2; John 1:1,14

In John 8;56 Jesus uttered these words to Jewish people that Abraham overjoyed that saw Him and rejoice. Where in John 1:1,14 ;it states In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. For example the phase in the beginning referring to of the time-space-material universe. was before creation existed Jesus existed and was God. Where in Micah 5:2; it states” His family {Jesus} line goes back to the early years of your nation. It goes all the way back to days of long ago, meaning eternal God’s incarnation in the person of Jesus Christ. Indicating he will reign forever

In John 1;14 Jesus began flesh and dwelled among us meaning to tabernacle,” or “live in a tent.” He took to Himself a full and genuine human nature. Where He was fully Man and fully God or ancient creed begotten, “not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human.”

Born Of A Seed Of A Woman

Genesis 3:15; Matthew 1:18

Before  God put curse on Adam and Eve God turn to the snake and said  I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel. Meaning The offspring of the woman would eventually crush the serpent’s head, a promise fulfilled in Christ’s victory over Satan—a victory in which all believers will share Ro 16:20 .It only Christ that is powerful enough overcome Satan. Since God is holy and hates he needed deal with sin he needed send Himself to take punishment in which we richly deserved.

Roughly 4,000 years later a virgin  Mary found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit and gave birth to a Son. His name will be Jesus meaning to rescue or to deliver or salvation. Reformed Bible Study wrote. “1:21 Jesus. The Greek equivalent of “Joshua,” meaning “Yahweh is salvation,” or “Yahweh saves.” Often, in names only the first syllable of God’s name is used (e.g., Elijah; Isaiah; Joshua). Matthew Henry wrote,” Christ is our Joshua; both the Captain of our salvation, and the High Priest of our profession, and, in both, our Saviour.”

Of The Seed Of Abraham

 Genesis 12:3: Matthew 1:1-16

Abram meaning exalted father was asks to leave his father household in Hebrran and God made.a promise out of his loins there will be a great nation, and be will  as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. He will possess the gates of their enemies. and and his name would be great among the nations. All the nations will be blessed. Than God changed his named to Abraham meaning many father of many nations. Genesis 12:3: I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Prior to Jacob death he utter these words to Judah his son,”The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until He whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to Him.” Roughly 1,000 after Jacob prediction a shepherd boy name David from tribe Judah was anointed as king of Israel

Later God revealed to Nathan the following to King David, “I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and qI will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. Prior to King David death he appointed Solomon king as he promise to Bathsheba found in 1 King 1;29-30

Approximately 1,000 year Nathan predication Jesus was born Bethlehem. Where the Holy Spirit impregnate Mary who from the line of King David found Luke 3; 23-38. In the line Nathan third son Bathsheba or brother Solomon

Since Joseph was in the royal line found in Matthew 1:1-16 found in verse six establishing Jesus as king.

Believer Bible Commentary wrote,”If Jesus had been the real son of Joseph, He would have come under this curse. Yet He had to be the legal son of Joseph in order to inherit the rights to the throne of David. The problem was solved by the miracle of the virgin birth: Jesus was the legal heir to the throne through Joseph.”

In Genesis 3:15 God declared to Satan I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. Reformed Bible Study wrote, “Mary fulfills Is. 7:14 (v. 23), and the even more important promise of Gen. 3:15 (Gal. 4:4“. Furthermore, it stated concerning important role women played in the family tree of Christ.  “Tamar (v. 3) reminds us of Judah’s failures (Gen. 38:6–30); Rahab (v. 5) was a harlot (Josh. 2); Ruth was a Moabite (Ruth 1:4) and thus subject to a special curse (Deut. 23:3–5); Uriah’s wife Bathsheba (v. 6) was David’s downfall (2 Sam. 11).

Believer Bible Study wrote, “This “Seed” is Jesus Christ who provides salvation for all peoples Gal. 3:16. A major characteristic of the covenant is that it is unconditional. Generations of Abram’s descendants from time to time would default and fail, but ultimately Yahweh was committed to achieving these goals.”

Where Jesus had to be very God and very man meaning fully God and fully man. To accomplished the atoning work and purchased mankind sins and to be king forever predicted by Nathan the prophet.

All Nations Blessed By Abraham’s Seed

Genesis 12;3   Matthew 8:5,10 Gal. 3:8)

Genesis 12;3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:3—The phase“In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Reformed Bible Study wrote,”Many are to receive God’s blessing through the Seed of Abraham (18:18; Gal. 3:8; Rev. 7:9, 10).”

In Judea line there were Gentiles for example Tamar

Genesis 38;6-10   Josh. 2 and Ruth Moabite found in Ruth 1:4

In Genesis 17;5 God changed Abram name to Abraham meaning father of nations Where the Abrahamic Convent cover both the Jewish people and Gentle people found in Genesis 22;18   In John 10;16 Jesus declared. “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” Furthermore declares to His discples in. Acts 1;8 and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Salvation has always, in every age, been by faith found in Galations 3:7 v. 29 . Therefore those who believe in the atoning Christ are sons of Abraham. John MacArthur Study wrote,” Believing Jews and Gentiles are the true spiritual children of Abraham because they follow his example of faith.” And was with reference to Paul’s Gentile listeners—Abram’s spiritual descendants.

As scriptures declares, Abraham was emphasis-added circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while still uncircumcised. This was to make him the father of all who believe but are not circumcised, so that righteousness may be credited to them also.

The faith of centurion found in Matthew 8:5,10  and

Luke 7;1-10
